Brooke and Emil met in 2018 when they filled in for each other's bands. During a rehearsal, Emil picked up an acoustic guitar and started playing More than Words by Extreme. Brooke started singing and Emil joined her with a harmony. Both looked at each other and said, we should start a thing...

That was the beginning of the duo Brooke & Emil, which has since played countless wineries, music festivals, coffee shops and private parties.

In early 2020, right before the pandemic, Brooke and Emil started a rock band called Neverland, which has since had great success playing at many large music festivals throughout the SF Bay Area.

In 2023, the duo created another band, DustFlower, which plays Country, Rock, Americana, etc.
