The Alex Lucero Band is an award-winning soul and Americana group based in Santa Cruz, California. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Alex Lucero and his wife, Justina, the band mixes country, blues, and rock. They average 300 shows a year and boast over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

The band has a large and loyal following. They have opened for major acts like Chaka Khan and Michael McDonald. In recent years, they toured the East and West coasts of the United States and even played in Europe. Locally, they won "Best Local Musician" and "Best Local Band" at the Best of Santa Cruz Awards.
